Carbon Foot Print Assesment
Carbon Foot Print Assesment
A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gases (primarily carbon dioxide) released into the atmosphere as a result of the activities of a particular individual, organization, or product. It's a way to measure the impact our actions have on the environment and climate change.
Components of a carbon footprint:
Direct emissions: These are emissions caused directly by an individual or organization, such as burning fossil fuels for transportation, heating, or electricity generation.
Indirect emissions: These are emissions that are a consequence of our activities but are not directly caused by us. For example, the emissions produced during the manufacturing and transportation of products we consume.
